Guardy is an innovative app created specifically for color guard instructors and directors, providing a comprehensive tool for managing inventory and member organization. Our mission is to empower performing arts educators by delivering solutions that make their jobs easier, allowing them to focus on what they love most. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to help us bring Guardy’s vision to life as we grow and develop our product offerings.
Role Overview
Guardy is seeking a Project Manager who will oversee the planning, coordination, and successful execution of development projects. In this role, you will work closely with our product and development teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with our mission. This position is perfect for a driven, organized, and collaborative leader who’s excited about working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with Guardy’s strategic goals.
- Team Coordination: Work cross-functionally with development, design, and product teams to establish timelines, allocate resources, and ensure everyone stays on track.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, monitoring expenses and making adjustments to keep the project financially feasible.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality and timeliness of deliverables, performing quality checks and coordinating user testing.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement proactive solutions to keep the project on course.
- Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, documenting progress, challenges, and achievements.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, ideally within the tech or SaaS space.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to lead a team, fostering a collaborative environment while ensuring accountability and productivity.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Skilled in identifying and resolving challenges, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
