Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Developer with a passion for building high-quality, scalable applications. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development, optimization, and enhancement of Guardy’s features. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic startup, bringing innovative solutions to the performing arts industry and making a real impact on the lives of our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Work on all aspects of Guardy’s web and mobile applications, from front-end interfaces to back-end systems.
- Feature Implementation: Collaborate with the product team to design and develop new features based on user feedback and market needs.
- Optimization and Debugging: Ensure the app performs efficiently by debugging, optimizing code, and improving scalability.
- API Development and Integration: Design and maintain APIs that support mobile and web applications.
- Collaboration: Participate in regular team meetings and brainstorming sessions to continuously improve Guardy’s offerings.
Qualifications
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar (specific language depends on your stack).
- Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue for front-end development.
- Familiarity with backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django) and database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in software development (open to all experience levels if you’re hiring junior developers).

- Strong Communication Skills: Able to explain technical concepts clearly and work well with cross-functional teams.
