Role Overview
Guardy is seeking dynamic, visionary individuals to join our board of directors as volunteer board members. In this role, you will work closely with our founder, lending your expertise to help steer Guardy’s mission, strategic direction, and community engagement. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on a rapidly evolving company and the color guard community at large.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Oversight: Participate in high-level decision-making to guide Guardy’s growth and success.
- Advisory Role: Provide expertise and insight in your areas of strength, which may include product development, marketing, finance, or technology.
- Advocacy: Act as an ambassador for Guardy within your network and help expand our visibility and influence in the industry.
- Fundraising and Partnerships: Support initiatives for resource development, including partnerships, grants, or sponsorship opportunities, as relevant to Guardy’s mission.
- Governance: Attend board meetings (held virtually) and contribute to discussions on Guardy’s direction, mission fulfillment, and long-term goals.

- Industry Expertise: Background in areas such as mobile app development, education, sports, performing arts, or business is ideal.
- Commitment to the Mission: Passionate about supporting the color guard community and performing arts education.
